Every tattoo is unique — just like every story. Factors such as size, color, age, and placement affect how many sessions are needed. On average, most clients see significant fading within 6–10 sessions. Depending on the type of tattoo, some will see results in as little as 2-3. At your consultation, we’ll look at your tattoo together and create a plan that fits your journey.
The truth? You’ll feel it — but it’s quick. Most clients say it feels like a rubber band snapping against the skin. This device directs a steady stream of cold air to the treatment area, cooling the skin before, during, and after each laser pulse. By lowering the skin’s temperature, it helps minimize discomfort, reduce redness, and protect the skin — making the entire process much easier. When it comes to laser treatments, darker skin types (Fitzpatrick IV–VI) can be more sensitive to adverse reactions such as hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. Many traditional lasers carry a higher risk of causing these issues because of how they deliver heat into the skin.
The PicoWay laser works differently. It uses ultra-short picosecond pulses that target pigment with incredible precision, while generating far less heat than older technologies. This means it can safely treat a wider range of skin tones with reduced risk, while still delivering highly effective results for both tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation.At Reborn Laser Clinic, we’re proud to offer a technology that makes advanced laser treatments safer, more inclusive, and more effective for everyone.
For tattoo removal, downtime is minimal. It’s normal to see some redness, swelling, or a frosty white appearance on the treated area immediately after your session. These effects usually fade within a day or two. You’ll leave with an aftercare package and clear instructions to support healing and protect your skin between treatments.
For skin rejuvenation treatments, most clients experience very little downtime as well. You might notice mild redness, slight swelling, or a warm sensation in the skin right after your session — similar to a light sunburn. These effects typically resolve within 24–48 hours. Because PicoWay stimulates collagen deep within the skin, results continue to develop in the weeks that follow, all while letting you return to your normal routine almost immediately.
PicoWay also helps with pigmentation, acne scars, fine lines, and uneven skin texture by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen. It’s about renewal as much as removal.
